How gas prices have changed in Vineland in the last week

Gasoline prices continue to rise this week in line with seasonal trends. It's the third-straight week prices at the pump have risen on average, according to a GasBuddy analysis.

"For now, gas prices will likely continue to trend higher, but the fever may break soon," GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said in a statement Monday. Major refineries in the U.S. are coming back online after periods of maintenance, De Haan also said, which could help moderate rising prices.

But the seasonal increase in demand for travel and switchover to more expensive summer fuel blends is also running up against conflict in shipping corridors spurred by the war in Gaza, extended production cuts announced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, and fresh sanctions on Russian oil leading experts to warn prices could rise even higher in the coming months.
